Wards dominate Port Kembla Championships

Jason Ward has successfully defended his title in the Port Kembla club championships, taking out the title for the sixth consecutive year. Ward after being part of a three-way tie for the lead at the halfway mark finished strongly with rounds of 72 and 74 for a 72 hole total of 299, eight shots ahead of his nearest rival Mark Crossingham. The Ward family will be celebrating with son Eddie Ward taking out the 2019 Junior Boy’s title.

In B Grade the winner was Mustapha Elmir on 347 with runner-up Mark McDonald on 359. Elmir’s victory was based around rounds two and three where he shot 83 and 84. Noel Politis showed consistency to take out C grade with four solid rounds to finish on 384 and take home the trophy from runner-up Mark Thomsen 398.
